Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Customs Release Group ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles information through this website at customs-release.com. We take your privacy seriously and limit data collection to what is necessary to respond to your enquiries and operate this site.

Information we collect

Contact form submissions. When you submit a request through our contact or enquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, job title, company name, email address, phone number (if given), and the content of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry.

Cookies. We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our pages. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings modal — it appears on your first visit and can be reopened via the Privacy Policy link in the footer.

Server logs. Our web server automatically records standard access log data: IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. This is standard web server operation. Log data is retained for 30 days and is not cross-referenced with personal information you submit.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit through our contact form to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, follow up on a proposal or engagement. We do not use your contact details for marketing purposes unless you explicitly request it.

Analytics data (collected only with consent) is used in aggregate to understand which pages are most useful and where the site can be improved. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

Information sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. We do not share data with advertising networks or data brokers.

We may share information with service providers who assist in operating this site (such as our hosting provider and email service), but only to the extent necessary to provide those services, and under confidentiality obligations.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.

Your rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you certain rights regarding your personal information. If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or another state with comparable privacy legislation, similar rights may apply.

These rights include: the right to know what personal information we hold about you; the right to request deletion of your information; the right to opt out of any sale of your information (we do not sell personal information); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at enquiries@customs-release.com. We will respond within 45 days.

Data retention

We retain contact form submissions for up to 24 months to allow for follow-up on enquiries. Server logs are retained for 30 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below.
